CALASPARRA SETS NEW PROTOCOLS FOR COVID-19

The Policy Coordination Round Table met at Calasparra Town Hall yesterday to set the new protocols under the national State of Alarm.
As part of the management of Covid-19 in Calasparra the Town Hall convened the Round Table meeting with the Mayoress, Teresa Garcia, Antonio Merino, Head of the local Department of Citizen Security, the Chief of the local police, Miguel Ángel Martínez and the Brigade Commandant of the Guardia Civil,  Francisco Javier Fernández, to analyze the obligatory measures required under the central Government´s State of Alarm and those required by the regional government.
The Mayoress informed the meeting of 13 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Calasparra.
The meeting recognized the following:
That the curfew, from 11pm to 6pm, was for a provisional of 15 days, but which may be extended by regional government.
All local sports schools remain suspended.
The Official Bulletin for the Murcia region (BORM) states that citizens should aim to limit social contacts to the people they live with and that public establishments may not open during the curfew, except indispensable services.
The maximum occupation of bars and restaurants is 30%.
Commercial premises had a maximum occupation of 50%.
Churches etc may not exceed 50% capacity in enclosed spaces and a maximum of 30 people at ceremonies (weddings etc).
Drinking and eating in public places is prohibited where social distancing is impossible.
50% maximum occupation of libraries, musuems, exhibition halls etc.
Individual sports activities in the open air are permitted when employing the general measures of social distancing, protection and hygiene.
Visits to residential centres are limited to exceptional circumstances.
Training centres, academies etc should function over the Internet. Where this is not possible the maximum capacity is 50% with a maximum of 30 students with social distancing.
Regarding All Saints Day there will be a control point established at the cemetery. Residents are asked to employ extreme caution and respect the measures imposed by the Health Authority.
The meeting reminds residents not to be complacent in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
To reduce social contact.
To ensure ventilation of inside spaces.
To use masks.
To respect social distancing.
To wash hands regularly.
To clean and disinfect.
