The Met Office have issued a warning for snowfall of up to 10 centimetres
in the North West region of Murcia during the next 24 hours.
The warning is for 1000 metres or more above sea level and includes mountain areas
close to Moratalla.
The warning remains in force from around 3pm until midnight.
Calasparra does not have areas of this altitude but residents can expect
frequent and intense periods of rain, which may be persistent. Lower
temperatures and wind.
According to predictions the sun will
return to Calasparra later on Saturday morning and will shine throughout the
weekend.
