A 20 year old youth was transferred to the Arrixaca Hopsital after being gored in the back by a bull during the first bull run in Calasparra this morning.
Other runners also suffered slight injuries.
The run was made particularly dangerous today due to a sharp shower just as the bulls were released.
Apparently the injured youth slipped on the wet tarmac at the entrance to the bull ring and was gored in the back, near his kidney.
He was treated immediately at the field hospital but transferred to hospital due to the severity of the wound.
