The 20 year old youth, from Monovar, Alicante, gored during yesterday´s bull run has been operated for two broken ribs, a broken spinal ligament, bruising in the medullary canal and a broken nose.
He suffered a deep wound in his back, just above the kidney area, of some two centimeters, when he slipped on the wet tarmac outside the gates of the bull ring and was gored by a bull.
He was operated immediately in the field hospital before being transferred to the Arrixaca Hospital.
The injuries have been graded as “grave.”
