There will be a Junior League Football Tournament at the Caverina Football Stadium on Saturday March 24 with teams from Guadalupe, Jumilla, Villar del Olmo (Madrid) and Calasparra.
Presenting the tournament with the President of the local Real Madrid Fan Club, Francisco Núñez, the Mayor of Calasparra, Jose Velez, said “this event shows the great talent and enthusiasm of these young players and underlines how important it is that of the Real Madrid Fan Club and the Town Hall promote sport.”
The Torneo de Fútbol Base “Antonio Ruiz Cervilla” is named after the only Murcian footballer to play in four European cups and ex-Real Madrid player, who took part in the presentation on Friday in the Town Hall.
The tournament begins at 9am and finishes at 2pm with the presentation of the trophies.
