The Cooperativa Eléctrica San Francisco of Asís de Crevillent, member of the business group Enercoop, has awarded more than 2,000€ in grants to for charities and environmental action in Calasparra.
The company presented the grants at a ceremony at the Town Hall this week.
Calasparra Town Hall received 500€ for environmental action: the religious brotherhood which organises Easter Week received 300€, as did the Calasparra Choir, the Arcoiris Association and the Dogs Rescue Association, Calasparra.
The Cooperativa Eléctrica San Francisco of Asís de Crevillent, manages a spring in Calasparra and, through a mini hidro-electric centre, produces renewable energy without CO” emissions.
