Murcia will be the first region to eliminate the “page del peaje” ( payment for connection to the grid), for pepple who have installed solar panels for their own use and don´t produce more than 10 kilowatts annually.
This follows a recent judgment decreeing that the regional legislation takes precedence over national legislation.
Before this measure can come into effect the order must be published by the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment which regulates conditions with which these installations must comply.
