Calasparra says goodbye to the Fiestas of the Patron Saints Senen and Abdon with the traditional «Diana» with bell ringing and rockets to summon residents to the early morning mass and procession.
The Day of the Saints on Sunday brought to a end a week of festivities, concerts, competitions and all the traditional activities, such as the Migas Night and the parade in regional costumes.
Saturday night the main concert started at 1am and many young people of the town would have stayed up all night before joining the Diana yesterday.
There were special activities for the peñas (youth groups) including a Gran Prix in the Bull Ring and an electronic music concert in the Recinta Ferial on Saturday night.
