A special vehicle which will enable police to carry out testing for drink drivers in various points of Calasparra has arrived in the are and will styay until the end of February.
Local police will use the van, supplied by the Director General of Traffic, to mount controls and testing for drivers who have consumed alcohol as part of the “Zero tolerance campaign.”
There will also be random checks on vehuicles to ensure the use of seatbelts and drivers are reminded that all children should use the statutory safety equipment, even within the town boundaries.
