There are 79 more active cases of Covid-19 in the Murcia region compared to the previous 24 hours and 44.8% of these affect the 15 to 29 year age band.
Although there were no deaths related to the virus recorded the number of active cases has crashed through the 500 barrier and there were eight more hospital admissions, three of those in intensive care.
Following the recent outbreak among end of term revellers which has led to more than 1,000 new contagions in young people in eight different regions, the Minister of Health has announced plans to vaccinate people of 12 years upwards.
