The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for the area which includes Calasparra for rain and storms until midnight on Wednesday.
According to the warning, there could be heavy rain, winds and hail.
Last night, Monday, some 13.5 litres of rain fell per square metre in Calasparra.
