The Met Office has issued a Yellow Weather Warning at the highest level for strong winds in the North West area of Murcia which includes Calasparra with a 70% chance of gusts reaching 45kph.
The Yellow Weather Warning stays in place until 10pm tonight.
Driving is particularly dangerous as objects fly around and branches and trees may fall on roads. Outside activities in open areas are also dangerous, according to the Met Office.
Please take all the normal precautions to avoid objects flying in gusts of winds and remember other residents may not be so careful so extreme precaution is advised. Avoid trees and walls and buildings that may fall down.
