The letter is from Jesús Navarro, Mayor of Calasparra and Socialist mayoral candidate for the elections next Sunday May 22.
My principal concern has been and continues to be the advance and development of our town. A town that, above all, with enthusiasm and effort, we can ensure continues to progress.
I have always regarded you as another resident of Calasparra and I considered you in this manner when I lent impetus to the urban development of the area where you live. From the first moment I regarded you as yet another neighbor, as a friend whom we must support and help in your new perspective on life. For this reason I am turning to you to ask you to collaborate in the development of our town and our region. In order that we can continue to maintain a state of wellbeing; in order that our health and education systems continue to be free at the point of delivery; to reject the proposals by other parties for means testing; and to oppose those with ideas of limiting social payments. To resume, so that we can continue to advance the quality of public services.
I am sincerely convinced that with your help and the help of everyone who lives in this municipal area you will have a more prosperous and flourishing town. For this reason I am asking you to vote for the Socialist Party, so we can continue to advance, because together, we can continue along the path to the future. I believe we must choose an option for progress and this option, without doubt, is the Socialist Party.

This is a letter from Pepe Vélez General Secretary of the Socialist Party Group of Calasparra.
I am writing to you to remind you that Sunday, May 22, is the date of the elections to elect the members who will make up the next Town Hall (local authority) of Calasparra.
The Socialist Party present as mayoral candidate Jesús Navarro, the current Mayor of Calasparra: a person who has shown his capacity to develop a policy which has permitted the extraordinary progress of our town.
I feel proud of our candidate and believe he is the right person to direct and coordinate the future performance of our Town Hall.
Honest, hardworking, approachable and with a grand capacity for hard work I believe he is the candidate required to ensure that our town, which you and I form part of, continues to advance.
