The recent hailstorm did little to alleviate the drought which is currently gripping the region of Murcia and in particular Calasparra as where farmers and smallholders anxiously await the spring rains!
This week the weather centre predicts sun and more sun with daytime temperatures hovering around the early 20’s. There may be some cloud on Friday and Saturday but no rain, say forecasters. Minimums are likely to be stabilize around 5 or 6 degrees.
Rain is predicted for the following week, however, as we know, these predictions rarely apply to Calasparra which seems to have its own individual weather system.
