While we are all enjoying the relative cool of today, Wednesday, when temperatures are not expected to exceed 33 centigrade, seven degrees less than yesterday, a heatwave is around the corner, warns the Met Office.
The first «official» heatwave is closing in on Spain and temperatures are expected to begin to rise from tomorrow due to a wide anti-cylcone approaching us from inside Algeria. This anti-cyclone will intensify and expand during the next few days towards the West introducing very hot, dry and stable hot air resulting in a generalized and progressive rise in temperatures, principally from Thursday and over the weekend.
Temperatures are likely to be higher than normal for this time of year and in North West Murcia, hich includes Calasparra, are likley to hover around the 40´s plus.
Please respect the Spanish sun, take the usual precautions and stay safe out there!!!
