Thirty six walkers from as far away as Pilar de Horradada, Murcia City and Corvera met at the Embalse de Argos for a 10am start to walk around the area.
The grey sky and chill in the air did not put anyone off and it was not long before the sun came out to warm everyone up. It was a 13k walk which took around four hours.
This circular walk took them through open countryside, pomegranate orchards and forests, along good tracks to the picnic stop at the “Recreativa de Juan Carlos,” where the dogs, who came along with their owners, did not know which table to sit at as there was so much choice!
Once fed and watered, the walkers made their way back to the Argos in lovely sunshine and posed, with smiles, for the usual group photo.
WARM (Walkers Around the Area of Murcia) are a walking group made up of different nationalities enjoying various walking routes in Murcia. A link to a short video of photo’s is here: https://youtu.be/FBs_CrmeyNM
