On Sunday, March 17, the Municpal
Tourist Office has organised an walk up to and around the ruins of Calasparra Castle.
As part of the “Fall in Love with Calasparra” programme the walk starts from
the Tourist Office at 10.30am.
Apart from the ruins of the castle and the foothills of San Jose there are panoramic
views, which take in the rice fields and the Segura Valley, particularly
spectacular at the moment as all the fruit trees are in flower.
Comfortable clothes and footwear is recommended.
