A 70 year old man has fallen 100 meters during a guided visit to the Puerta Cave in Calasparra.
Firemen and emergency medical staff were called to the scene and assisted in the rescue.
The visitor, who has an artificial hip, was reported to be “in a lot of pain.” After stabilizing and immobilizing him he was transferred by ambulance to the Lorenzo Guirao Hospital in Cieza.
