Quesos Villavieja, the local artisan cheese Factory, has donated 1.000 euros to cancer research through the local association, «Calasparra se mueve».
The money will go towards cancer research at the Hospital Virgen de la Arrixaca.
Rufino Martínez from Villavieja Cheese announced the donation, which represents 10% of the profit from sales during March, on Radio Calasparra today.
He thanked all his customers who, he said, had made the donación posible.
Villavieja cheeses already has three varieties of cheese with “denominación de origin.”
