Calasparra Town Hall has responded to protests yesterday by pupils from Valentin studying at the local High School, Emilio Perez Piñero.
Pupils were protesting against the lack of a public school bus service between Calasparra and Valentin.
Following conversations between the Mayoress, Teresa Garcia, the Head of the Department of Education, Esperanza Moreno and the Director General Of Centres, Verónica López, the public school bus service will made available during the period of part class and part virtual education.
The service will begin on Thursday.
The Mayoress has also requested a meeting with the President of CARM, Fernando López Miras, to deal with themes of interest shared by Calasparra and Valentin which include better access to the town centre of Valentin.
