Some 47 of the 662 people over 80 years old in Calasparra have received their first Covid-19 vaccination at the local Medical Centre.
The Medical Centre are waiting for vials of the vaccine to administer to the section of the over 80´s and grand dependents who will receive the vaccination in their homes.
Vaccinations of the Pfizer and Moderna for those in this group who are able to attend the Medical Centre began on February 24 with those considered most vulnerable.
The vaccination of teachers has also begun this week at the Municipal Sports Centre in Caravaca for a group of 1,148 teachers under 55 years.
Police officers, firemen and members of the Civil Protection will receive their first dose today.
