The
Government has frozen the price of protective material such as masks, gels and disinfectants
to prevent profiteering and to ensure these are widely available to the public.
If you buy a mask check the instructions to ensure it is reusable and how to
clean it.
The regional Health Authority has issued the following guidance for using a
mask. If you don´t follow the guidance the mask is rendered useless and may
even increase the risk.
As yet, in Murcia, free masks have only been distributed to people returning to
work. In some areas they are being distributed free to the entire population.
In the Murcia region they are available for purchase in chemists.
Guidance:
Do not wear the mask lowered around your neck or lifted onto your forehead.
The mask must always cover your nose, mouth and chin.
Before putting the mask on or taking it off wash your hands or disinfect them
with the appropriate gel.
Do not reuse a mask unless specified that this is safe.
