Following on from the public demonstration last night in the Plaza de la Corredera (pictured above) the local branch of the United Left Party were collecting signatures for their petition against the cuts at Calasparra´s Friday market.
The United Left are calling for a national referendum on central Government´s austerity package, which has included massive hikes in IVA and changes pay and conditions for millions of public sector workers.
