The local police arrested a man and a woman, aged 32 and 40 years respectively, both from Cieza, in a well known leisure spot in Calasparra in the early hours of Saturday morning on suspicion of trafficking drugs.
When the officers stopped a vehicle in a routine control, the two oc cupnts were «nervous and evasive». A subsequent search by the police dog section found 11 wraps of a rose coloured substance (Tusi or pink cocaine);and two wraps of a white sustance (crystal) plus cash. They also found a pill, probably extasis.
The substances were confiscated and the two people arrested on offences against the public health and will appear before magistrates today.
