The last 24 hours in the Murcia region have been tragic with 12 people dying of Covid complications, eight men and four women. The youngest fatality was just 37 years old.
The ages of the fatalities were 37, 55, 66, 70, 80, 80, 80, 85, 86, 87, 94 and 97 years.
Although the contagion rate in the Murcia region remains the second highest in Spain there were over 2,000 less active cases of the virus than the previous 24 hours.
