A new season and a new football team for Calasparra with the birth of Ciudad del Calasparra FC (City of Calasparra Football Club) which will begin training sessions at La Caverina Wednesday August 11.
The new club, which will be managed by Juan Carlos Cuenca, is calling on local football players to attend the trials for the team.
Ciudad de Calasparra C.F was created as the former team, Calasparra F.C. was dissolved and abandon the third division due to serious financial difficulties following the sentence which obliged the club to pay 250,000 euros in compensation to a former player.
