The General Directorate of Citizen Security and Emergencies has activated the Emergency Plan of the Civil Protection (INUNMUR) in the face of the risk of flooding detected today due to the discharge of water from the Argos Reservoir into the River Argos.
The Inumur Plan is currently at zero level following a communication from the Segura Water Board reporting «a loss of drainAge capacity in the dam’s spillways.»

At the moment no roads have been closed and Calasparra Town Hall confirms that there is no change to normal activity.
According to the Plan this current level is for «those situations where the meteorological data and/or hydrological data permits the prediction of imminent flooding which are dangerous for people and property, or those where localized flooding may affect a municipal area but can be resolved with municipal or regional resources».
