Already names on the national and international sporting stage, three young Calasparrians will represent their country and they all stand a good chance of becoming national champions.
They are Lucas Postigo Perez, Mario Mercader Vidal and Juan Martinez Rodriguez.
Lucas is already Junior Champion of Cross Counbtry regionwide and will be competing in the national championship this year.
Mario Mercader, second to the national champion in Under 17´s Billiards and sixth in the Under 25¨s, will represent Spain in the Junior European Championships in Brandesburg in April.
Juan Martinez Rodriguez, our well known canoeist, came second in the National Junior Championships and is runner up to the European Junior Champion. He is currently in training at the National Technical Centre in Seu dÜrgell.
