Four people have been arrested by the Guardia Civil in connection with a robbery in a butcher´s warehouse on the industrial estate in Calasparra.
Officers have recovered most of the stolen property including scales, hamburgers, a knife disinfector and butcher´s knives.
The men were arrested in Al Algar after the Guardia Ci vil stopped their vehicle outside a scrap yard and discovered machine engines and copper cable worth 12.500 euros.
Apart from the robbery in Calasparra the suspects will face charges related to another in Los Beatos on the outskirts of Cartagena.
