Readers can see the story of the space debris, with interviews from Calasparrians and the Mayor of Calasparra, on BBC2 on Thursday September 29 at 8pm.
The story is featured in the first episode of the series “Weird Wonders of the World”.
The programme will also be broadcast on BBC World at a later date, which we will publish in Nexonr when it is available.
The BBC film crew came to Calasparra in spring this year after they read the story of the space debris on this website.
They filmed on location in Calasparra and in Cartagena where the “space balls” are currently being stored.
