Pupils from the local high school have used the story of Nexonr as part of their entry in the Our Newspaper Schools Competition being organised by the Verdad regional newspaper.

The pupils also interviewed Nexonr staff about the ecological vegetable and fruit garden in Villa Vieja.
The roots of the current digital newspaper, Nexonr, go back to the oringal bilingual newspaper published during the boom years in Calasparra,which was pàid for by local advertising.
