The tendering process to build the 1.5 million euros new Town Hall building has already begun and the company that wins the contract must complete the project in nine months.
This is one of the biggest projects underaken during this local government´s mandate and will provide a new administrative centre for Calasparra. It counts on a investment of 700,000 euros by the regional government of Murcia.
The new Town Hall will be in the Gran Via, where current work to prepare the site adjacent to the Car Park have been in progress for some months. It has been designed by the architects Marc Subirana Ribera and Laia Gelonch Llongarriu, who won the design competition two years ago.

The rectangular building will have three floors including a semi-basement with access to the Municipal Auditorium and a ground floor with total accessibility. The administrative centre will be on the second floor and the council chamber and areas of access and attention will be on the ground floor.
