July is a regular date on the cultural calendar in Calasparra for the oldest, most traditional and light hearted local fiestas.
The celebrations around the Patron Saints of Calasparra, St Abdon and St Señen, include the best local rock concert of the year, Cuervarrozk, the Migas and Paella competitions, street parades, the crowning of the King and Queen of the “Huerta,” the traditional country dance, “the Verbena” with live music and much, much more.
