The Ministry of Health has temporarily suspended the Janssen vaccination for Covid-19 following its paralysation in the United States.
Thus the Murcia region will not receive the 4,000 doses expected this week.
However, the region will receive 4,400 doses of AstraZeneca as well as the 40,000 doses already committed.
The process of vaccination continues at the Medical Centre in Calasparra and in the Sala Camelot in Cehegín for people from Calasparra.
Appointments will be sent by SMS or calls to your mobile phone so please stay alert in order to avoid missing your appointment.
If you are in the age brackets 60 to 65 you should receive an appointment to attend in Cehegin and if you are in the 78 to 79 age bracket you should receive a phone call or text message from the local Medical Centre.
If this does not happen please do not attend without an appointment but call the local Medical Centre during the morning.
