Despite the summer temperatures we have been enjoying over the past few days the Met Office is warning us it is still not time to pack away those duvets and winter woolies.
It already feels cooler today, Friday, as the thermometer has dropped almost 10 degrees, but it is likely to drop further over the weekend and showers are likely on Saturday.
Saturday temperatures will drop to around 15 degrees during the day and 8 degrees at night and by Sunday the minimums will be as low as 3 degrees, although daytime temperatures will recover a little.
Next week temperatures will normalise for this time of year, around 16 to 18 degrees during the day and some 10 degrees cooler at night.
There may be some showers around towards the end of the week and the weather is expected to continue to be unstable for the “puente” (long weekend) of San José.
