A street in the Textiles area of Calasparra will be named after an artist from Blanca, Pedro Cano.
The motion to name the street after this regional artist was passed unanimously at the full council meeting last week.
Pedro Cano is considered one of the best artists nationally and is expected to attend the ceremony in the New Year.
