The
President of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, has announced that the State of Alarm, which
obliges people to stay at home, will be extended by 14 days until April 11.
Statistics on the coronavirus in the Murcia region are currently 296 confirmed
cases, 16 in Intensive Care, one mortality and one case cured.
The latest advice to shops and supermarkets is to close in the evening at 8pm
at the latest. It is recommended that they close at 7pm.
Readers who go shopping for essential supplies should go alone. Vulnerable
people should stay at home. The use of rubber gloves is recommended but it is
vital to use and remove them correctly. There is a video on youtube (Proper

face when wearing the gloves.
