Calasparra Town Hall is urging residents to keep active at home and “do
sport at home.”
It is important to activate
your immune sytem, strengthen your
muscles and send oxygen to your brain.
This
situation should not become an excuse to sit around doing nothing. Instead we
must take at least 30 minutes a day for exercise, and if possible, always at
the same time.
In our homes we don’t have a lot of material nor space but we should try and
take advice of what we have: a chair, a step, any heavy object. Any of these
things can be used for a lot of difference exercises and to strengthen our
hips, stomach muscles, thighs, legs and arms.
The Municipal Sports Service of Calasparra is encouraging everyone to practice some sport
in the home during the next days when freedom of movement outside the home is
restricted by law.
There will also be exercises available on the internet from the Department of
Sports.
