The President of the regional Government of Murcia, Fernando Lopez Miraz, has announced more hospital beds, more tests for residences and more contact tracers as part of the Special Contingency Plan in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
He pledged 500 new beds in 24 hours and plans an Advanced Semi-Critical Unit at the Rosell Hospital.
He will appear before the Regional Assembly to inform on the situation of Covid.19 in the region and the recruitment of 50 new contact tracers.
The region has also bought a million more antigen tests for residences.
