The parents association, AMPA, of the Pedreras Primary School has organised a protest because there are no resources for the eight children with special needs at the school.
The protest will be tomorrow, Thursday, at 8.45am outside the school gates.
According to AMPA, despite reassurances to the contrary from the Department of Education, there is no special needs teacher for pupils with conditions ranging from Downes to autism.
AMPA has also threatened a strike on Friday.
“These are children with special needs and they must have a qualified person to support them”, says a spokesperson for AMPA.
