Electricity prices have dropped significantly today, April 8, bringing bills back to 2021 levels.
Today, the megawatt hours costs 154.7 euros, almost 100 euros less than yesterday. The price for peak hours is 252.08 euros (with standing charges and taxes) and at the lowest hourly rate (3 to 5pm) is 7 euros.
FUEL PRICES AT THE PUMPS
Even though fuel prices normally rise during Easter week today´s prices are slightly less than yesterday.
However, it currently costs more to fill up with diesel than with petrol.
SP 95 costs 1,788 euros and a litre of gasoleó A (diesel) 1,895 euros a litre.
Deduct Government discount of 20 cents on each litre published above.
