Shoppers must use local supermarkets and
may not travel to another town or area to shop.
This has been made clear in the latest instructions under the State of Alarm.
Local police have increased patrols and are authorized to check shopping
receipts to ensure shoppers stick to the rules. Breaking the rules will mean a
fine.
Under the State of Alarm it is not permitted to travel to any supermarket or
store outside your immediate area during the State of Alarm.
