SEVEN TINY PUPPIES ABANDONED IN A FIELD

Seven tiny puppies, some six weeks old, were found abandoned in a field near Calasparra Station this weekend.
Another heartless and shameful act that, were it not for the swift action of a passerby, would almost certainly have resulted in a long suffering death for these little ones.
Dogs Rescue Calasparrs received a call from the person who rescued them and are now appealing for help to pay for their veterinary attention and care.
The five females and two males were infested with fleas and ticks and one of the males had an abcess on his penis and needed antibiotics. So before being abandoned the puppies had been totally neglected by their owner.
The law prohibiting breeding puppies without a licence and making spaying obligatory carries heavy fines for the culprits as does cruelty to animals. If anyone knows who this hearttless and cruel person is they can make a report to SEPRONA at the Guardia Civil in Calasparra.
In the meantime Dogs Rescue have once again taken over the responsibility where others so badly fail and now they need your help. Please make a donation to PayPal:Dogsrescuecalasparra@gmail.com.
