SEPTEMBER STARTS THE RAINY SEASON

A total of 70 litres of rain  per square metre fell during the recent rainy spell in Calasparra and the wettest day was Monday when 33 litres of rain fell and all fiesta events were washed out:
Although we are currently experiencing swarm sunshine the predictions are it will be a wet September.
Facebook reminds me today that it was only two years ago at this time when the streets of Calasparra looked more like rivers and an entire field we had sowed with Swiss Chard, to order, was wiped out in a few minutes.
So the weather is not so unusual then!
