The glorious Calasparra sunshine has revived the vegetables in our ecological garden, although the frost has done some damage, and we are able to offer sprouts, sprout tops, Swedes, leeks, cabbages, cauliflower and broccoli on our stall in tomorrow’s Friday market.
We have also taken delivery of our new ecological olive oil, cold pressed and unfiltered for a true traditional flavor, and produced exclusively from our own olive orchards here in Villa Vieja.
Local artist, Mar Garcia, designed the label which features a map of the region of Murcia in the form of an olive tree.
The olives were pressed by a small family olive press in Blanca.
The oil will be on sale on the stall in two litre bottles for 10 euros.
