The Met Office have announced that sand particles may begin to disappear from the air in areas of the Murcia region, tonight, Wednesday.
Overcast skies are forecast with rain during today occasionally with intermittent storms.
According to the Met Office sand particles will begin to clear, except on the coast, as rain, not containing sand, clears the atmosphere. However, this process may take most of the week.
A yellow weather warning has been issued for the region with rainfall expected to reach 15 litres per square metre today and tomorrow.
