REGIONAL PERIMETER CLOSED AS CONTAGION RATE DOUBLES

The regional government of Murcia has introduced new restrictions as the contagion rate for Covid-19 doubles with 456 new cases in the last 24 hours.
The regional perimeter is closed and tomorrow, January 5, and the fiestas of the Three Magic Kings on January 6, bars and restaurants will close at 6pm.
Tables in bars and restaurants are restricted to a maximum of six people and premises may only be open to 50% capacity although 100% capacity is permitted on terraces. Drinking and/or eating at the bar is prohibited.
Smoking is banned on terraces and masks must be worn at all times except when actually eating or drinking.
The curfew of 11pm to 6am is maintained.
Private parties and social events are also restricted to a maximum of six people.
There are 4,356 total confirmed cases of the virus  in the region and of these 231 are in hospital and 65 are in intensive care.
Sadly, Nexonr reports four additional deaths in the last 24 hours bringing the total in the region to 755.
There are currently five confirmed cases of Covid-19 in Calasparra. There were no new cases diagnosed in the last 24 hours
