The Covid Technical Committee of the Murcia region has applied to the Tribunal of Justice for authorization to require a Covid-19 Certificate for attending nightlife venues and mass events in order to permit 100% capacity.
Currently, the capacity permitted is 75% and will remain so unless authorization to require the certificate is given.
Some 88% of the region´s population has been immunized against the virus with 1,153,717 double vaccinated.
In Lorca and Cartagena people over 70 years old are receiving the third vaccination against Covid-19.
(Six months must elapse between the second and third vaccination).
Lorca, San Javier and Totana continue on “high alert” for the virus.
Abarán, Águilas, Los Alcázares, Alhama de Murcia, Archena, Cartagena, Pliego, Puerto Lumbreras, San Pedro del Pinatar, Torre Pacheco and La Unión are on “medium alert” and the rest of the región, including Calasparra, are at “low risk”.
The use of mask in the interior of shops, bars etc remains mandatory and looks as though it will remain mandatory for the immediate future as a prevention measure against the spread of the virus and of flu.
