Today in the Recinta Ferial of Calasparra grandparents and grandchildren are cooking traditional recipes together.
The event forms part of the Murcia Region Spanish Capital of the Gastronomy programme which puts emphasis on the importance of the traditional Murcian cooking.
Workshops with a professional cook were set up in the Recinta Ferial to promote knowledge of traditional recipes and help to recuperate the “gastronomic memory.”
