These will be the first canine races held by the Town Hall in Calasparra and all funds raised will go to the dog protection organisation, Dogs Rescue, Calasparra.
There will be prizes for the fastest dogs and the most fun.
The races will be held on June 11 from 11am in the Plaza de la Corredera and Emilio Pérez Piñero.
There will also be activities for children.
